World's largest cruise ship is heading to Europe
Allure of the Seas, one of the two largest cruise ships ever built, will be based in Europe for the first time ever, next year.
The 6,296 passenger ship owned by Royal Caribbean International, will use Barcelona as its home port from summer 2015 from where it will embark on a series of weeklong cruises around the Mediterranean.
Passengers will get to experience a wide selection of exciting facilities whilst onboard this impressive 16 deck ship such as an outdoor park with 22,000 plants and trees and features a zip wire. The ships also has 20 pools and whirlpools, an outdoor AquaTheater home to a cast of highdive acrobats, a fairgroundstyle seaside boardwalk and more than 20 dining outlets.
With just over 2,300 crew members on board to service all the needs of the guests, this ship has been designed to try and appeal to all types of holiday makers from families to the thrill seeekers.
