Royal Caribbean International to Launch More Megaships
More than four decades and counting, Royal Caribbean International continues to push the limits of innovation and imagination to deliver vacations that exceed expectations. We have become one of the world's leading cruise lines because we strive to maintain our Royal Advantage - a promise to launch the most innovative ships that take guests to the most exciting destinations while delivering personalized service in all voyages.
Royal Caribbean International currently operates seven of the 10 largest cruise ships in the world, namely: Anthem of the Seas, Quantum of the Seas, Allure of the Seas, Oasis of the Seas, Freedom of the Seas, Liberty of the Seas, and Independence of the Seas. By 2018, three more Royal Caribbean International vessels are expected to join the list.
Anthem of the Seas and Quantum of the Seas are our first two Quantum-class "smartships". Quantum-class vessels introduced several new firsts at sea, including glass observation capsules, robot-powered bars, super-fast wireless connectivity, RFID technology, skydiving simulators, and state-of-the-art entertainment venues. Our third Quantum-class ship, Ovation of the Seas, will be launched in 2016.
Harmony of the Seas, Royal Caribbean International's third Oasis-class ship (after Allure of the Seas and Oasis of the Seas), will also set sail in 2016. Oasis-class vessels are the largest cruise ships in the world. Like her sisters, Harmony of the Seas will house seven distinct neighborhoods but she will also introduce new features, including three multi-story waterslides, the fastest Internet connection at sea, larger staterooms, and robotic bartenders--similar to those found in Anthem of the Seas and Quantum of the Seas. A fourth Oasis-class ship (still unnamed) will be launched in 2018.
While Royal Caribbean International is proud of having the largest and most sophisticated cruise ships in our fleet, we are equally proud of having the best workforce at sea-men and women who work tirelessly to deliver Gold Anchor Service to our guests.
