Shaquille O’Neal - Carnival Cruise Line's new CFT

NBA Hall of Fame member Shaquille O’Neal has been appointed Carnival Cruise Line’s CFO (Chief Fun Officer).

The announcement was made with a video featuring O’Neal and Carnival president Christine Duffy. As CFO, he will lend his larger-than-life personality to inspire Americans to ‘Choose Fun’ with Carnival when planning their next vacation, and in their everyday lives.

“We are very excited to have Shaq as part of the Carnival team,” Duffy said. “He will serve as a great ambassador, ensuring everyone knows all about our one-of-a-kind brand of fun.’”

His role has been brought to life via video content, paid social media and experiential activations.

Shaquille O’Neal played for Miami Heat from 2004 to 2008.
